Scary things
What helps you do scary things?
This world is full of scary things that need to be done. I'm sure most of us have plenty of practice avoiding, postponing, or even ignoring them altogether. But some of them, eventually, simply need doing.
I've managed to face a few of the scary things in my life with the support of a good cup of tea or a sunny hike. Other times I've needed a therapy session (or several) to get me launched. Sometimes I've leaned (hard) on the wisdom and care of folks who love me. I know people who journal and others who meditate and some who've learned how to channel their anger to face their fears.
But tell me about you. How do you navigate the frightening things you need to do? Any recommendations you might like to share?
