Fresh perspective

What sorts of things do you do that help you see things through other people's eyes?

We've all read the headlines about the ways in which AI is biased, the ways it entrenches established perspectives, and how it ignores the knowledge and experience that exist beyond what we might call "average." So I was delighted to stumble across Erin Reddick's ChatBlackGPT --a brand-new project designed to "speak from a culturally aware perspective of black America.” In this LinkedIn post, she asks the identical question to ChatGPT and to her new app, arriving at two markedly different responses. It's a simple but powerful illustration of the diversity of perspectives in our world, and I'm beyond grateful to have discovered the work she's doing to help highlight that!

I'm curious about what resources or practices help expose you to other ways of seeing the world. How do you go about building this into your life?
